it's bout time!

Its half past eleven, and I just got home from the post office. There was one clerk who didn't have a calculator - the man customer was arguing that 15 stamps was $5.50, and she couldn't work it out right on paper. Finally, she was like, "oh...your right.." and he turned around to us(the audience) and said, "When I was in fifth grade. I got in trouble for not showing work. It cuz i use my head. It's all in here!" (pointing to his noggin)

Besides spending my morning watching other's antics, this time piece struck my fancy. Since visiting the land of swatch watches, I've been enamoured by time-keepers. This clock is called "About time"(hat tip to slipperybrick), by Dutch design studio Buro Vormkrijgers and it rolls conically one full revolution in the span of 12 hours. The edge of the circle touching the surface tells the time, well kinda.

The continuous strand of words say, "It's about seven o'clock," or "just nearly eight", so you never know exactly know what time it is.
