Environmental impacts of water[bottled]

"And in Fiji, a state-of-the-art factory spins out more than a million bottles a day of the hippest bottled water on the U.S. market today, while more than half the people in Fiji do not have safe, reliable drinking water."

Okay, so we've all heard that water makes up what and what percentage of the earth, and our bodies. So its definitely important, right? But even though I'm one of the few who constantly only drinks water(among my friends) does anyone realizes that we pay more for bottled water than gas?

In the article: Message in a bottle by Charles Fishman, he tells recounts american culture of how mental we are to "indulge" in bottled water- and what bottled water really is- not to mention the facets of society that it impacts{ packaging, landfill, villages around the world...}

So if you've got a few minutes, read this thru.
